DESCRIPTION:The most important thing as believers in Jesus is to become His
  disciples. When Jesus sent out his disciples to make other disciples of a
 ll nations (Matthew 28:18-20) he first modelled what this looked like to h
 is very own disciples. When we look at Jesus life he had 3 levels of disci
 pleship. He had the Crowd\, which he taught and ministered to as he travel
 led. He had his 12 disciples who spent a lot of time with him and then he 
 had a core group of 3 (Peter\, James and John).  Each grouping of people 
 had a different purpose and they also had different levels of intimacy. \
 nHere at Gateway\, we also have “the crowd” that meets every Sunday mo
 rning\, and we have “Home Groups” that meet in people's homes througho
 ut the week that can be around 12 people. We also want to create “Core G
 roups”.  Core groups are small clusters of 3-4 people that meet togethe
 r to learn and study scripture\, pray together and generally support one a
 nother in their spiritual journey. \nCore groups are great for people who
  are curious to faith\, very new to faith or just desire a closer more int
 imate group to meet with.
